Vicky Kumar, a 19-year-old migrant labourer, talks about how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected his life, his relationships and his dreams. “I wanted to wear proper clothes, live nicely, have shoes on my feet,” Kumar said. “But now it seems like even if I work for 2 years, I won’t even be able to buy a decent pair of sandals.”
