Tibet Then and Now features photographs of the history, culture and people of Tibet from 1914 to 2010. The exhibit charts a journey of transition in the territory, depicting the transformation of Tibet and its history. The show is divided into three sections. The first showcases the pictures of the Tibetan provinces Amdo, Kham and U-Tsang from the year 1914 to 1958. The second consists of photographs by Lobsang S Taklha, elder brother of the Dalai Lama, taken during his visit in 1979. And the third portrays the current situation in Tibet, with contributions from photographers around the world.
