The Ranga Shankara Festival, now in its ninth year, features adaptations of Shakespeare’s work. Plays from around the country and world include Atul Kumar’s take on Twelfth Night and Sunil Shanbag’s All’s Well That Ends Well, Dhaka Theatre’s The Tempest from Bangladesh and Marjanishvili’s As You Like It from Georgia. The festival will also host evenings of sonnet recitation, film screenings and an arts appreciation course.
