Oz Fest, a celebration of Australian contemporary culture, will be held from October 2012 to January 2013. The festival will be launched with a music concert featuring iconic Aboriginal Australian singer Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu, twice-Grammy-nominated, Indian sitarist Anoushka Shankar and Australia’s Mark Atkins, a virtuoso on didgeridoo, the ancient Aboriginal drone instrument from Australia.
