The topic for this year’s edition of One Billion Eyes is ‘Festivals.’ The inspiration comes from the fact that in India everything is festive, from a family gathering for a meal to the proceedings of the government. From harvest related agrarian festivals and those related to the cycles of the earth to melas, utsavs and vizhas held across the geography of our nation, all fall under the theme of the festival.
One Billion Eyes film festival, 16 to 19 August, Chennai. For further information, email [email protected]
