The Living Room (TLR) Café will host its first Oktoberfest this year, remaining faithful to the dates, themes, drinks and cuisines of the original festival held annually in Munich. Apart from the usual delicacies—Bratwurst, Schweinebraten, pretzels, cheese noodles and hot potato salad—the festival will feature a beer gulping contest and a TLR ‘Big’Un Burger’ eating contest. Also on the schedule are live music concerts, a puppet show, DJ club nights and an Oktoberfest-themed pub quiz.
