Performed in three languages, O My Love is based on Mahakavi Bhasa’s classic Sanskrit play Madhyam Vyayog, adapted and directed by Waman Kendre. The play revolves around the characters Bhima, Ghatotkacha, Hidimba and a Brahmin family. Ghatotkacha has been asked by his mother Hidimba to seek a human sacrifice to enable her to end her fast. In the process, Ghatotkacha unknowingly discovers his father, Bhima, and ultimately accepts him.
