14 TO 18 DECEMBER

QFX KUMARI HALL, KATHMANDU, NEPAL

The fifteenth edition of the Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival, organised by the Himal Association, will screen more than 70 films from 76 countries, in various competitive and non-competitive categories such as fiction, documentaries, shorts and animation. The films are centred on social and environmental issues that affect highland communities worldwide. The festival will also feature discussion forums, guest lectures and exhibitions. This year’s festival will open with the Asian premiere of The Last Honey Hunter, directed by Ben Knight, which provides an insight into the dying tradition of honey hunting in Nepal.
