Julus and Other Stories is a multimedia project by Shakuntala Kulkarni consisting of synchronised videos, chalk drawings on board, prints of wiped-off chalk drawings and cane objects. The film Julus is a declaration of the vision that anyone can have equal rights and freedom as individuals, and as part of a community as a whole. The artist also addresses her concern about the violation of the female body in public and private spaces.
