This exhibition is an overview of 300 years of landscape art in India—from the late eighteenth century to the recent past, representing artists from all major centres of art production in India.The show brings together the work of early European artist-travellers to India, including Thomas Daniell, William Hodges, Edward Cheney and Robert Grindlay. Altogether, it will put forth a selection of nearly 400 works by over 100 significant artists.
