Biswajit Das’ new series does not focus only on horse tales, it goes on to depict the horse as a special identity that is hidden amongst all of us. The exhibition consists of 55 paintings by Das, most of which have a horse as their main theme. The choice of colours and the long deliberate strokes come from his heritage in rural Bengal, the birth place of a generation of romantics.
