Four Abstractionists showcases the works of Akhilesh, Amitava Dhar, Samindranath Majumdar and Sunil De. While the works of Dhar and Majumdar are closely attached, and critical, to life, the forms of De and Akhilesh have a trend towards classical and tranquil beauty. These art works do not follow the pure geometrical mode, and are detached from the warmth of life and nature.
