This exhibition uses lens-based work to explore the construction of our public selves. Featuring the work of three artists—Fabien Charuau, Michael Bühler-Rose and Pradeep Dalal—the exhibit examines the manner in which the discourse of identity formation is shaped by the portraitures of (un)willing subjects. The exhibit includes works from Mumbai-based photographer Charuau’s Send Some Candids, New York-based Bühler-Rose’s Little Indian Still Lifes and Constructing the Exotic, and the Malabar Hill and Lothal Portrait series by architect Dalal.
