CMS Vatavaran

The theme for the 6th edition of India’s premier environment and wildlife film festival is ‘Biodiversity Conservation’, coinciding with India’s hosting of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) in October 2012. The festival attempts to facilitate dialogue and debate about relevant environmental issues by engaging with the public. Highlights of the 2011 festival include an Asian summit of documentary filmmakers, Indian and international film screenings, open forums on biodiversity and a special masterclass by Dr George Schaller.
