New media artist Vishal K Dar presents his first show, BROWNation. To commemorate Gandhi Jayanti, all his works on display are centred on the figure of Mahatma Gandhi. Through a series of prints, videos and installations, Gandhi is portrayed to be questioning, despairing and mocking the reality of contemporary India. The materials used by the artist are as diverse as tin sheets, heater rods, currency notes and zardozi threads.

BROWNation, until 23 October, Gallery Espace, 16 Community Centre, New Friends Colony, New Delhi. For more information, call 011 2632 6267
