EXPERIMENTER, KOLKATA
The Canadian artist Moyra Davey’s solo exhibition Bring My Garters / Do Nothing ventures into the intimate spaces of the artist’s world and explores her memories, her artistic, literary and philosophical influences, and the narratives of her friends and family. Among the works featured in the exhibition is Les Goddesses, which utilises images and audio to shuttle between different times and places and reflect on loss and the effects of time. Davey’s works encompass photography, film and writing, and dissect themes of compulsion and creativity.
