The Blue Mug, a production of Mumbai’s Company Theatre, is the theatrical debut of Konkona Sen. On stage with her are Rajat Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Sheeba Chadha, Ranvir Shorey and Munish Bhardwaj. All the actors, apart from Konkona and Ranvir, play themselves on stage, narrating their stories. Ranvir and Konkona’s characters are inspired by The Man who Mistook his Wife for a Hat by Oliver Sacks. The actors scribble on blackboards on the stage as they take off on each of their dream sequences. The memories include music, maths and letters.
