The National Centre for Performing Arts’ first home production in two decades is a Marathi play inspired by Jean-Paul Sartre’s classic theatrical work, No Exit. Albel tells the story of three people charged with murder who, while sharing a single prison cell, begin to shed their mutual distrust and share their traumas and experiences. They form a strange fellowship and, despite their differences, become each other other’s redemption. The play is written and directed by Sai Paranjpye.
