Primary Responsibilities:

· Build and deploy highly scalable apps and integrated solutions.

· Create the best possible user-experience using latest Front-end technologies.

· Supporting existing applications, debugging problems, and fixing issues.

· Build and maintain robust API infrastructure for standard integration with new FullContact features, products and third-party services.

· Write high quality code, perform unit & integration tests.

· Continuously improve code quality, product execution and customer delight.

· Act on user feedback to constantly improve features.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline.

· Very good understanding of data structures, algorithms and design patterns.

· Experience in working on AWS/GCP and GIT environments.

· Full stack engineer with 2+ years of hands-on experience working on one or more front end Web technologies

· Comfortable coding in JavaScript

· Proficient in HTML/CSS, and JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS, AngularJS

· Experience in CSS frameworks such as SASS or Tailwind CSS

· Ability to implement RESTful APIs using languages such as Node.js

· Exposure to Microservice Architecture

· Some experience integrating with internal and third-party APIs

· Ability to understand UX designs and convert them into functional interfaces.

· Comfortable moving between different technologies, programming languages, and eager to learn and take on new challenges.

Candidates should display an ability to work collaboratively in a team and in alignment with The Caravan’s editorial and creative vision. They must exhibit efficiency and an ability to prioritise and plan ahead effectively in a fast-paced news environment.

The Delhi office is a small shop, and therefore requires team players with a willingness to be flexible. This is a full-time fellowship, for the duration of one year. Night, holiday, and weekend work may be required.
