This book is a graphic retelling of the Shaheen Bagh protest, from its start until its abrupt end in March 2020, when the police cleared the area following the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Through conversations and interviews with Muslim women who led the protest, the author explores their thoughts on the dialogues and questions about citizenship and rights, as well as pivotal moments and symbols of the protest.
