Federico Perez  is a PhD student at Harvard University. He is currently conducting research on urban planning and redevelopment in Bogotá. His work has been funded by the Wenner-Gren Foundation, the Inter-American Foundation, and the Social Science Research Council (Drugs, Security and Democracy Program).
