Care of Footpath (2006) is a film by the world’s youngest film director, and Guinness Record holder for the achievement, Kishan Shrikanth (born 1996). It was produced by the Kiran Movie Makers of Bangalore. As of January 2006, having acted in 24 films and in many popular Indian soap operas, he started directing a feature film about an orphaned boy who wants to go to school. The cast includes prominent Indian actors Jackie Shroff, Saurabh Shukla, B Jayashree and Sudeep. Kishan plays the lead himself. This film was originally in Kannada, and later dubbed into Hindi, Oriya, Malayalam, Bengali and Tamil. It was shot in Mumbai over 55 days, with a budget of 8 million rupees. The film will be shown at the Suchitra Cinema & Cultural Academy as a part of Chitravarsha, weekend screening of award-winning Kannada films.
